MEET JENNY
I qualified as a counsellor in 2016 and set up my private counselling practise in 2017. The aim was to offer counselling for a range of issues but also to provide a more specialised service for young people and individuals with Autism and ADHD. Over the years I have gained experience working in educational settings at Canterbury college, Folkestone college and for a specialist secondary school provision for young people with SEND.
The practise now also offers Clinical supervision and Couples counselling and is based at the Lombard house in central Canterbury. Individual, couples and supervision sessions take place face to face but also online, with clients and supervisees from all over the UK.
I'm a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and clinical supervisor who is a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) as well as the NCPS (National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society) and I abide by their ethical frameworks.
Before becoming a counsellor I worked in teaching and recruitment. I am originally from Sweden but I have lived all my adult life abroad. First in France, then Switzerland and now in the United Kingdom. I'm trilingual and can offer counselling in English, French & Swedish.
